What Should We Bring?

  • Sunscreen (Lotion Only, No Spray)

  • Lightweight Protective Clothing/Sunhat

  • Sunglasses

  • Rain Gear In Case of Rain

  • Dramamine (take 1hr prior) 

  • Hand Sanitizer

  • Snacks/Beverages (no bananas!)

  • Alcohol Allowed (no liquor or glass bottles)

  • Camera (cell phones will be stored)

  • Gratuity - 15%-20% of total cost

What Do We Leave Behind?

  • Electronic Devices (phones, tablets, GPS)
  • Glass Containers
  • Firearms/Weapons
  • Pets  (Includes Service Animals)

  • Bananas

Booking Policy

Above the Salt Charters requires  a $100 deposit for all charters at the time of reservation - no exceptions.

The remaining balance is due in full upon check-in at the dock.

Preferred payments are cash or via Venmo; major credit cards are also accepted with Square.

Payments by check will not be accepted.

Refund/Cancellation Policy

Above the Salt Charters requires reservation cancellations be made in writing (email or text) no later than 7 days prior to your scheduled charter in order to receive a full refund.

Cancellations made by phone only will not be honored.

Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled charter will not be refunded the $100 deposit.

If you are a no-show on the day of the charter, you will be charged 100% of the charter rate. 

Our charters run, rain or shine! If Captain Chuck deems the trip unsafe due to weather or maintenance issues, you will be refunded in full and rescheduled.

Refunds are not given if customer experiences seasickness.
